Sri Rajarajeshwari Public School started in the memories of Smt. Ammaiah, Sri. V A Narayanappa and Sri. N Ananthamurthy to provide world class quality education. Magnificent school buildings are constructed with all modern facilities and infrastructure.

Sri Rajarajeshwari Public School, Heggunda was inaugurated by the great visionary His Holiness Dr. Shivakumara Swamiji of Siddganga Mutt who was considered as moving God and great philosopher. His dynamic leadership, hard work and sacrifice for transformation of society by providing good education and service for better living by encouraging mass education for upliftment of the society.

Academics

Sri Rajarajeshwari Public Schools are affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Delhi, CBSE adapt and adopt the curriculum of National Council of Educational Research and Training. Hence the school prescribes CBSE and NCERT curriculum text books. School functions according to the objectives of National Curriculum Frame Work (NCF) 2005 and strives to provide scheme of studies, curriculum, academic guidelines, textual material, support material, enrichment activities and capacity building programs. Curriculum constitutes a total teaching -learning program composed of overall aims and objectives, syllabus materials, methods and assessments.

School implement modern methodology of teaching-learning process on Indian traditional background providing holistic quality education through experience and exposure both scholastic and co-scholastic areas of learning in the classrooms, laboratories (science, computer, mathematics, languages and social science), library and reading room, playground and also extensions of learning, etc.

The Central Board of Secondary Educational (CBSE) Delhi releases curriculum every year to implement in the schools. Accordingly the school follows this curriculum. School implement both school based as well as board based evaluation of student that covers all subjects of student development. Student growth and development is a continuous process built into the total teaching-learning process of scholastic and co scholastic areas such as knowledge, understanding, comprehension, applying, analyzing, evaluating and creating spread over the entire span of academic session.

School shifts emphasis from testing to holistic learning and aims at creating good citizens, possessing sound health, appropriate skills and desirable qualities besides academic excellence to meet the challenge of life with confidence and success.

Facilities & Environment

Academic achievements reflect the ability to perform to the best of one’s ability by developing one’s intellectual potentials and skills with diligence and ardour.

We have conducted workshop on Online-Lab developed by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham & CDAC Mumbai funded by MEIT (Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology) for the teachers on 22-09-2018.

Our school has organized hands on experience for the teachers on the topic “ Online Education”. Our school was conducted “Orientation programme on CBSE curriculum “ for the teachers. Subject experts from Chennai conducted classes for our students in different subject such as mathematics, science, social science and English.

Smt. Vijayalakshmi Resource person from Chennai conducted workshop for nursery teachers of the school. School has taken initiative to improve the handwriting of the students by the hand writing expert Mr. Bharath. Children learnt the handwriting skills in systematic manner with the help of hand writing experts.

Achievements & Activities

Karnataka education Department has organized cluster level Prathibha Karanji competitions. Students of our school participated in various competitions and won laurels to school.

We have celebrated the Independence day in our school. All the students have participated and displayed various skills and talents. Sri Krishna Janmashtami was celebrated on 26th August 2019. Kindergarten children of our school wore the dresses and look like Radha and Krishna.

School celebrated Yoga Day with great enthusiasm on 21st June 2019 to bring peace, harmony, happiness and success to every soul in the world. This was a great opportunity to imbibe the value of discipline. Yoga is a mental, physical and spiritual practice that needs to be carried every day. Children got the chance to know how yoga embodies unity of mind and body.

Sport competitions were conducted on 17th October 2019 to display the various talents of the students. On this occasion various events such as Kabaddi, Kho Kho, running race, frog race musical chair, lemon and spoon, book lending, sack race, relay, shot put and tug of war competitions were held in the school. Sports events have been conducted for kindergarten section also. Events conducted are fun, safe and easy. Typical events are relays, ball skill games; balancing, water transfers and teamwork games are conducted.

Agastya Foundation Bangalore has helped our students in conduct of Practical classes in science. School organized excursion to provide experience and exposures to the students. We are conducting children day in the school 14th of November every year. School day was celebrated on 15-11-2019 to exhibit of the skills and talents of the students in Co-scholastic areas of learning.

The school has secured cent percent (100%) result from inception to till date (past three years) in All India Secondary school Examination (AISSE) conducted by CBSE Delhi. Kum. Kavana Shree has secured 95.6% in All India Secondary School Examination (10th class public examination) of CBSE 2019 and she secured top one percent of Merit Certificate from CBSE Delhi. The school occupies the position of top ten percent of schools of whole CBSE schools in India and abroad ranked as top 10% of schools in CBSE.
